Correna is a variant of two Greek names, Cora and Corrina. A customarily female name that derives its definition mainly from the Greek language. The name may have origins in English, Irish and French, but they all give the same meaning. According to the different sources, the meaning of Correna is ‘maiden’. Correna was probably popularized in Italy in the '70s by the Italian designer brand with the name. A pair of vintage Correna sunglasses gives any ensemble an air of old-world sophistication.
