Hesperos

Hesperos is an ancient Greek language-originated name. In the Greek language, the meaning of Hesperos is 'evening or evening star'. According to Greek mythology, the name is just a personification of the evening star or the planet Venus. Hesperos, or the name variant Hesperus is one of the Astra Planeta. Hesperus is the name variant of Hesperos, the son of the dawn Goddess Eos from Roman Aurora, the half-brother of Phosphorus, also known as Eosphorus, which means morning star. Some sources also say that Hesperus was the brother of Atlas; hence he was the son of Lapetus. Longfellow writes a poem about a tragic ship voyage named 'The Wreck of the Hesperus'. The female version of Hesperos is Hesperides, who in Greek mythology are the nymphs of the evening and golden lights of sunsets known to be the daughters of the evening or Nymphs of the west. Dicyphus Hesperus is also the name of the species of an actual bug which is from the family of Miridae. Apart from the name variants Hesperos, the boy can have several nicknames. Eosphoros, Sphere, Peros, Pedro, and Hessie are a few of the many suggestions for the same.
