Elanor Gardner ("Elanor the Fair")
eldest daughter of Samwise Gamgee in "The Lord of the Rings," and a golden, star,shaped flower that grows in the Woods of Lothlorien. In the Elvish language, Sindarin, it means "star sun" (from el "sun" + anor "star").
