Lethe
According to Greek Mythology, Lethe was one of the five rivers in Hades. The other four were Styx, Archeron, Phlegethon, Cocytus, and Lethe. Anyone who drank from it experienced complete memory loss. Hence, the meaning of Lethe is ‘oblivion’ or ‘forgetfulness’. The term Lethe is said to be related to Aletheia (ἀλήθεια), which means ‘truth’.
